  1. I sincerely hope that Franklin Planner is doing well financially. I\’ve tried electronic systems, and I thought Palm was the best, but the only thing that lasts is the old fashioned paper planner/organizer. I\’m worried because the stores I used to go to are shut down and I don\’t want Franklin Planner to go away like everything else I seem to like.

My only complaint is your binder rings get mis-adjusted too easily and I wish the quality on those was better. Other than that, please keep up the good work and the great products.

    1. Thanks John! If you are having trouble with your ring bound planners you can try the wire bound. They are easy to swap out of binders!

  2. PLEASE don\’t ever change the Leadership Weekly Ring Bound Refills. Classic size.
I do not know what I would do without them..
You guys are the best. Keep up the good work.

  3. I also hope the Franklin Planners do very well financially. I would hate to see them disappear ! I like the credit card holders in the binder\’s cover. Is it possible to include Improved pen holders that would securely hold and protect a Cross pen and pencil within the binder ? That would be very useful to myself and I\’m sure many other people as well ! Sincerely, PhiL Bowen

  4. I have used the Franklin Compact Planner for the past 15 years and have never found any system electronic or otherwise to equal it. I actually have my original binder which attests to the quality of the product. It helps to keep me organized at work as well as home.
Thank you for your fine products – Keep up the good work!!!

  5. I have been using paper franklin planners for YEARS. And I love the system!!!
My only issue is with the binders. The allen head screws come out and the entire ring system is then lose in the actual binder. Luckily enough I have a zipper binder but it\’s very frustrating to lose the screws and have it flopping around inside the zippered case.

    1. Hi Gina,
We are glad you love our system as much as we do! If you take your binder to a retail store (I am not sure if there is one around you) they can usually switch out the ring system for you since they screw in. Hopefully that can help with the problem, or if you are willing to switch, we have our wire-bound planners that will eliminate that problem for you. Thanks!

  6. I have used the Franklin Planner for 20 years now. In fact I have leather ring system binder (Classic) that I have had since then. The only issue I have had is my silver logo came off. I call my binder my life line. If I were to ever lose it I would be devastated as it literally is keeping me focused on a daily basis. I as well as the others who have posted wish Franklin/Covey system to be around for years to come.

  7. Some people work a 24 hours on / 48 hours off / schedule. Having an annual fold-out calendar with every 3rd day designated differently would help those people a lot, in knowing far ahead which days they are scheduled to work……………

    1. Hi Dan,
I would like to pass your idea on to our product managers for a future planner design. If you would like to email me more about your thoughts or specific work schedule (and how a planner would help), I can pass it along. [email protected]

  8. As we enter 2014, I could use the 2015 fold out yearly calendar for my Compact planner. I have the 2014 which I used in 2013. I\’m an engineer working on multi-year projects, so I need the year ahead. Will it be available, and if so. When?
PS – had the honor of being trained by Dr. Stephen Covey About 2 decades ago. That and my planner have made an amazing difference in my life.

    1. Hi Henry,
I checked with our product managers for you and it looks like the 2015 calendar is expected to release next July in 2014. I know that makes it hard to schedule way in advance, but hopefully you will still find it helpful. We are glad you appreciate our calendars and planners as much as we do!

  9. I started using your binder/organizer system when I worked at Price Waterhouse and have been hooked on it since. I passed my 1998 binder onto my sister and it has held up to world travel, spilled coffee, being used as a plate and everyday use since that time. I recently bought the zipped binder and love that too. It has less travel miles, but I call it my life line. Without your system, my life would probably dissolve into chaos.

  10. I have been using a Franklin Planner since 1994. I tried Palm, tried using my smart phone, even tried PlanPlus Online. Nothing compares to the paper planner system for keeping me on track and focused. I can\’t bare to be without it, and carry mine in my purse. I tried the Compact size but it is still to big. I love the Pocket ring-bound. It is perfect size and I love being able to customize the planner system. I just wish that there were more options for Pocket. I love the one page per day Serenity planner and the Serenity weekly planner. Unfortunately neither of these are offered in Pocket. : (

  11. I used a Franklin Covey Planner for over 20 years. I then I tried using an iPad calendar app for almost year. I find that I prefer using my Franklin Covey Planner over my iPad. I can write things down in my Planner a lot easier than I can type them in the iPad app. I hope FranklinCovey stays in business for a long time. I know that I will use them for the rest of my career (13 years to go).
