Dad youre the best

Yesterday was officially Father’s Day. We hope you reached out, spent quality time with, or took a moment to remember your dad. Dads and other father figures are often taken for granted. Yet, they play a crucial role in our lives, providing guidance, support, and love.

He’s that guy who shows up whenever you call and teaches cool skills, like how to change a tire or win an eating contest. He’s up for fun times and interesting adventures – often right in the backyard.

Not only did he tirelessly work with you on tying your shoes, but he also reviewed each resume, helped you file taxes, and bragged about you continually to all his friends. Who let you win at basketball, soccer, football, Frisbee, and horseshoes? Dad. And he was actually good at all of them – but he knew you needed that win after all your hours of practice.

Who let go of the back of the bike so you could really fly once those training wheels came off? Dad. And it nearly killed him to know that you’d likely crash, but also needed to learn to get back up and fail over and over again until you could succeed.

Show dad the love this week and month with phone calls, texts, memory sharing, quality time, and above all, emulation. He loves to see you use the skills, patience, and perseverance he taught you through instruction, but mostly by his example.

Dads shape us in countless ways, and Father’s Day is a reminder to appreciate the unique and invaluable contributions they make to our lives. Whether he’s near or far, let your dad know just how much he means to you. Celebrate his impact, honor his sacrifices, and cherish the moments you share. Dad, you’re the best.
